New

Hello, my name is Jesse Stinski. I recently was put into the Worship Pastor position at our church to help with our worship and overall service experience. This year we officially launched our new church name Renew Church, we redid our bylaws, tweaked our mission, vision and values, and changed the entire culture of the church for the better! After our launch things kind of stayed the same as far as our service experience. Yes, we were tweaking things here and there, but no one was ultimately responsible to make sure we moved forward in this area.
After praying about this a thought occurred to me. “What if I was to be the one ultimately responsible for the worship and service experience?”. So, a couple days later I asked for consideration from our Head Pastor, our Elder Board, and our Church Board. After coming up with a job description and opening the position of Worship Pastor to the church I was ultimately interviewed and given the position!

Even before I was put into the Worship Pastor position, I was doing A LOT of homework! I was learning all the ins and outs of our soundboard to be able to train more audio volunteers. I was learning our Pro Presenter software and how to do better live stream services. I was learning what other churches do and what kind of equipment they use. I was also learning about how to mentor and pastor people and get them excited about what God is doing. I am continually learning because I know a good leader never stops learning. More practically I have introduced some new technology into our services to help our overall sound, I’ve implemented some new expectations for our leaders and team members, and I have been learning to delegate different responsibilities to people in our church who have a diversity of God given gifts, and this has been very encouraging to them and to me!

I am excited for what God is doing and I really hope to have you join me on this journey! With your support I would love to send out bi-monthly letters updating you on this ministry, including fun photos and stories of God’s love and church growth! If you have any thoughts, questions, or concerns feel free to contact our church leadership and I am sure they would be happy to provide you with any job descriptions, Mission statements, etc. Thank you so much for your prayerful consideration. It means the world to me. God bless you!

Worship
Pastor

Jesse Stinski

Hi, my name is Jesse Stinski and I am a local missionary at Renew Church Duluth. I serve as the Worship Pastor at our growing church! This page was created for anyone who wants to read more about my role or consider supporting my work. I made sure to include some fun photos of the youth as well!

This was so exciting because now I could move forward with all these wonderful ideas God had placed on my heart! Only one problem. I still work full time at another job and have a young family to take care of, as well as the fact that our church didn’t have it in their budget to pay me for my time. I wasn’t worried about the pay, but the lack of time was really slowing a lot of things down. However, to have more time I would have to quit my job, but to quit my job I would need to have some kind of income. With all that said, we have been praying about a possible solution to this problem, and this is why I am sending you this letter. We thought that maybe other people would be willing to invest into this position on a monthly basis. I really believe that if the right seeds are planted in the right places an amazing harvest can happen. I believe that this position at our church is an excellent place to plant seeds. If I have 40 hours extra a week to build up this ministry it will mean that more lives will be impacted, more people will hear the Gospel, and more people will ultimately be discipled! A church’s worship and overall service experience is crucial to church growth and ultimately changed lives! Before I let you know where you come in, let me tell you some of the things I have already been doing.

So how can you help? Well, I could use your help to support this ministry in three ways. The first is through your prayer, that God would guide me and bless the work being done. Through prayer we can be confident in this ministry, as 1 John 5:4 encourages us saying ‘This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.’ The second way is through spreading the word! Hands down the best thing you can do is to just get a hold of a few friends, family, or coworkers that might be willing to support this mission and would come alongside us. Finally, your financial support, if it is God’s will for your life, would bless myself and I believe would bless this ministry beyond our imagination! If you are feeling led to support financially, I want to make that as easy for you as possible, that is why this letter includes two ways you can support. We have included a pre stamped and addressed letter if you wish to mail cash or a check. If you do choose to write a check, please make it out to Renew Church Duluth. Even better, the QR code on this paper links to Renew Church’s giving page. From there you can specify your gift to be given under “Worship Pastor/Jesse Stinski” and you can even set up automated monthly giving, so your support does not need to be a hassle. The reason your support goes through the church is so you can clearly see that I am being held accountable and that your donations are being used properly.
